Schedule of Events
- 8:00 a.m. - Registration held at Memorial Park in front of Memorial Hall - 18663 Carter Street at Bay Avenue, Tuolumne City, CA (Get Directions)
- 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 - Festival
- 8:45 a.m. - Games and Contests held until noon
- 8:45 a.m. - Dog Walk Begins
- 9:45 a.m. - Therapy Dogs of the Sierra Dancing Dog Demonstration
- 10:00 a.m. - Drawings
Offical Rules of Happy Paws Dog Walk
Pre-Registration Deadline: Monday, May 5, 2008
(Registrations will be accepted up to the day of the walk or you may register the day
of the event starting at 8:00 a.m. Those registering after May 5th are not guaranteed
a T-shirt, doggie goodie bag or bandana.)
- Pre-Registration guarantees a T-shirt, doggie goodie bag plus a doggie bandana
- Top Dog $200 & Good Dog $100 sponsor's names are listed on T-shirts, on promotional board, in program brochure and in the local newspaper.
- All dogs must have a current rabies inoculation and be licensed.
- All walkers are welcome, with or without a dog.
- Only dogs are allowed to participate for safety reasons.
- Dress your dog in costume for the contest!!!
- All walkers must complete and sign the registration form.
- Female dogs in season are not permitted to participate.
- Dogs must be leashed (6' maximum leash length) and kept under control at all times.
- Any unruly or aggressive dogs will be asked to leave.
- Participants are expected to practice responsible pet ownership.
- Contributions are tax deductible
Please Pick up after your dog!
(Pooper Scoopers will be available by garbage cans along the route.)
